Planned Maintance Outage

Hi Guys,

This is from the company that host our game servers

"It has become necessary to upgrade the core power distribution equipment in one of our KSP racks so that this rack is capable of drawing upto 32amps of power as we are soon to hit the safe limitations of its current 16amp breaker.

This would ordinarily be a straight forward task but unfortunately as our first rack setup at KSP was a 'rush job' we were supplied with the wrong type of PDU which heavily restricts maintenance access to the back of the rack and therefore we thought it made sense to correct this issue at the same time and furthermore, the distance between the rack posts is too great meaning that most server rails are not accommodated in this rack at present - another issue needing to be resolved.

Planned Window Details:

Date: 06/07/09
Time: 23:00 BST onwards
Affected: Rack 2 clients (~20 servers)
Duration: 3-4 hours

As with any maintenance windows, our apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused but studying network usage patterns we believe the suggested window should cause the least disruption."
